Crossing the Panama Canal
We crossed the Panama Canal in two stages, spending one night anchored on Gatun Lake. It was a special experience we shared with the family. Throughout the transit, an advisor accompanied us to guide the maneuvers and coordinate the passage through the locks.

The first stage took place late in the evening. We passed the first locks at night, with a monohull tied alongside One Cat. The maneuvers require precision and coordination, especially in the dark and among the heavy maritime traffic.
On March 4th, we completed the transit, sailing the remaining 32 miles and passing through the final three locks. When the last gate opens, the moment is powerful: the Pacific Ocean lies ahead. From that point on, there is no turning back.
After sharing this memorable experience with family, it is now time to focus on the next stage. The family has returned home, and we are now on board with Charlie and Morgane, preparing for the next big step: the departure toward Polynesia.
