After 20 days and 8 hours at sea, we finally reach the Marquesas and meet the people of Fatu Hiva.
From our first conversations, their extraordinary generosity and hospitality move us deeply.
The scenery is breathtaking: sheer cliffs, lush vegetation and nature everywhere. Everything here feels more intense, wilder and more alive.
We return with bags full of fruit — bananas, mangoes, avocados and grapefruit — offered with disarming simplicity, without spending a single penny.
Back on the yacht, the spectacle continues as manta rays glide around us. The calm is complete, almost unreal.
The programme is already filling up: tuna fishing, a barbecue with local people, discovering the Marquesan earth oven and, of course, a few jobs to keep the adventure moving forward.
